PENGARUH PELAYANAN KUNJUNGAN TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN GEREJA DI GEREJA BAPTIS INDONESIA PERTAMA PEKANBARU-RIAU

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Influence of Visiting Services on Church Growth at the First Indonesian Baptist Church in Pekanbaru-Riau. Visiting Services are activities organized by shepherds/pastors to meet with their sheep (congregation) with the aim of guarding, maintaining, guiding and saving these people so that they receive attention, help and care for their bodies, souls and spirits through visits. Church growth (Variable Y) is the development or condition/thing that grows bigger or more perfect of a gathering consisting of believers/Christians in a certain place (local church) both in quantity (increasing the number of members through preaching the gospel) and quality (deepening and maturing their lives and faith) by bringing everyone into a relationship with Jesus Christ through the church. The research method used is a quantitative method. The conclusion obtained is that there is an Influence of Visiting Services on Church Growth at the First Indonesian Baptist Church in Pekanbaru-Riau
